Job Overview
Northern Virginia Real Estate University is seeking a licensed real estate instructor to assist with pre-license real estate real estate classes at our office in Sterling, VA.
Licensed Real Estate Instructor responsible for teaching state regulated real estate pre-licensing courses. Ideal candidate possesses a strong real estate background as an agent or manager, experience with learning and development.
Responsibilities and Duties
Providing effective classroom instruction using methods and materials provided in the subject matter.
Follow lesson plans; leads classroom discussion on relevant topics and educates students regarding real estate principles and practices.
Competencies related to: curriculum & course development; teaching & learning theory; information resources & evaluating student outcomes; and, assisting student to develop critical thinking skills
Advising, assisting and evaluating students while contributing to their development and learning.
Preparing and grading all assignments and examinations.
Maintaining adequate and accurate knowledge of subject matter.
Qualifications
- Valid Pre-License Education Instructor Certification
- Excellent Oral and Communication Skills in English
- Detailed Knowledge of Real Estate Principles and Practices
